- The Clevo device is designed for disinfection with UV-C rays of all types of unit tips, (i.e. turbines, handpieces, contra-angles, dental scalers as well as optical fibers of LED lamps and other devices and tools) often used during procedures performed on patients. Please note that not all devices are suitable for sterilization.
- Disinfection is carried out in a manner that is safe for both the doctor and the patient. Clevo does not have a built-in drive or components that could cause a malfunction of the device.
- Simple installation in any place in the office, the possibility of presenting disinfection in front of the patient, who has the opportunity to learn about the disinfection of the handle and scaler and the tools used during the treatment, as well as increase confidence in the doctor and the office.
- Removes up to 99.9% of pathogenic bacteria with the maximum power of ultraviolet light 659.487 W sec / cm2 absorbed into the protein and nucleic acid of microorganisms, and then significantly damaging the DNA activity of pathogenic bacteria.
- It has the function of diffusing 100% natural aroma of any fragrance oil. The use of an aroma also positively affects the health of all people in the office thanks to the pleasant smell during the operation of the fan cooling the device. The use of fragrance oil is voluntary. The fragrance oil is not included in the kit, it is available at every drugstore.
- Natural ferry. UVC is practically absent on the Earth’s surface as it is completely absorbed by the atmosphere, as are vacuum and far UV radiation. Artificial UVC radiation is used for decontamination (germicidal lamps).
- The short-wave part of the radiation shows a high photobiological activity. It can also be observed in the case of bacteria and microorganisms, when in the range of 253.7-265 nm, the radiation has a lethal effect on them. Different microorganisms have different resistance to ultraviolet. The measure of microorganisms’ resistance to ultraviolet is the dose of radiation that the DNA of the microorganism can absorb until it is destroyed.
- The bactericidal action of ultraviolet is based on the absorption of UV-C radiation by the DNA structure of microorganisms. Using properly selected intensity of UV radiation and exposure time, you can destroy bacteria and other microorganisms by destroying their DNA.
- Treatment and surgical instruments as well as reusable dental equipment must be disinfected and then sterilized in an autoclave after each patient visit. If it cannot be sterilized, it should be disinfected with sporicidal preparations.
- European Union regulations recommend that after each use of the dental tip, optical fiber, syringe-syringe, etc. in the patient’s mouth, clean it, disinfect it externally and sterilize it in an autoclave. This obligation is associated with several serious problems, mainly financial. They can be solved by using the new Clevo – UV-C disinfection system.
- Description of elements:
- The aluminum housing is hygienic and suitable for dental applications, as well as being difficult to scratch and resistant to aqueous disinfectants.
- LED working indicators (yellow, red, green). 3 LEDs indicate the CLEVO operating mode:
- red LED on: power on;
- green LED on (steady light): disinfection in progress;
- green LED on (flashing light): standby mode, disinfection complete;
- yellow LED on: ATL aroma diffuser operation.
- The front cover is protruding, has a guide, allows for full disinfection, and at the same time cheap and easy to disassemble and replace with a clean and undamaged cover.
- The front LED panel has 4 blue LEDs. The lit diode informs the doctor and the patient about the disinfection being carried out. The start of disinfection is signaled by lit LEDs and a sound signal. The end of disinfection is signaled with a three-time acoustic signal. If the disinfected holder or scaler is left in the device, all four LEDs blink.
- Silicone doors protect completely against strong and dangerous ultraviolet radiation emitted outside, also towards the eyes of the person operating the device. Used not only to determine the best position for disinfection, but also to protect the interior of the device from scratching and crushing. Clevo silicone doors are durable and safe, they also eliminate all sources of problems.
- The positioning sensor automatically starts the disinfection procedure when the handle or scaler is placed in the device.
- If you want to disinfect again after completing the procedure, press the device restart button. The device will start disinfecting again. It is not necessary to remove and reinsert the holder or scaler.
- Remember, Clevo is in no way a substitute for autoclaving!
- The fan / diffuser runs for 10 minutes after each disinfection. It turns off automatically when disconnected from the power supply.

- Thanks to this device, you can perform a quick disinfection, and additionally, we recommend the use of disposable turbines and preparations for internal turbine disinfection from our offer:
- WL-Cid – a disinfecting and cleaning preparation for water conduits of dental tips, turbines and contra-angles – quick effect,
- WL-Clean – cleaning agent for dental handpieces,
- WL-Dry – dry air that should be used to blow out the tips after using WL-CID and WL-CLEAN preparations – remember to always use oil at the end!
