• One quick application of G-Coat PLUS will strengthen and preserve your glass ionomer restorations. The protective layer of G-Coat PLUS allows the glass ionomer reaction to mature completely and forms the strongest possible glass ionomer fillings with delayed exposure to saliva. Penetration of G-Coat PLUS provides internal protection against cracks and voids allowing increased fracture toughness. On top of that, G-Coat PLUS leaves a perfectly smooth surface and a unique shine.

• One quick application of G-Coat PLUS instantly transforms a freshly shaped composite into a high gloss polished filling. The hard, self-adhesive coating increases the abrasion resistance and improves gloss retention. Moreover, because G-Coat PLUS is connected not only with the composite filling, but also with the surrounding tooth surfaces, it will provide additional protection of the edge of the composite-tooth connection.

• G-Coat PLUS exhibits adhesion to existing restorations and can be used as a simple, easy-to-apply restorative coating in situations requiring extraordinary abrasion resistance, acid resistance or gloss retention. G-Coat PLUS can be used to refurbish the surface of existing restorations that require repair, such as reshaping to remove marginal discoloration around old composite restorations.

• The inclusion of adhesive monomers means that G-Coat PLUS gives adhesion without compromise to the surfaces it covers. This guarantees the full benefits of lamination and the highest level of protection for the tooth-filling edge. As a result of the optimal combination of monomers, G-Coat PLUS can achieve a high degree of polymerization without an oxygen inhibition layer after single light curing.
