Condensed glass ionomer cement for restorations.

Aesthetic glass ionomer for restorations in posterior teeth with very high abrasion resistance and six times higher level of fluoride release compared to traditional glass ionomers. It does not require the use of a rubber dam. Self-adhesion to dentin and enamel, without the need for etching and bonding. It does not require a retentive shape of the defect, allowing for a sparing preparation of tissues. Can be used with metal matrices for better shape. It gives good contrast in x-rays, which facilitates postoperative diagnosis, and has excellent biocompatibility. Short setting time – 2 minutes. 30 sec. from the start of mixing.

Indications:
1. Filling class I and II cavities in deciduous teeth
2. Class I and II restorations in permanent teeth not exposed to
occlusal overload
3. Material for long-term base fillings and underlays
exposed to occlusal stress in class I and II cavities
filled with the sandwich technique
4. Class V cavity fillings and within the root cementum
5 Rebuilding the core of the crown
