Metapaste – calcium hydroxide with barium sulfate
Indications:
- direct and indirect pulp capping
- root canal exudate
- apexification
- the process of creating a hard apex barrier
- root canal filling
How to use?
– prepare the root canal, rinse and dry it
– put the disposable applicator on the end of the syringe, then attach the attached disk that gives the direction of the applicator
– When filling the canal, slowly pull out the syringe
– remove excess material with a sterile cotton ball
– throw away the used applicator, insert a new one, tightly close the syringe

- very good contrast on x-rays
- convenient application from a syringe
- low risk of cross contamination
- high adaptation to the walls of the root canal
Available packaging: syringe of paste 2.2 g, disposable applicators, 1x disk pointing the applicator.
WARNINGS
– do not introduce material beyond the apex
– the product is intended only for use by dentists
– do not use in people allergic to iodoform
– do not expose to direct sunlight
– always close the syringe between applications
– store in a dry and cool place (improper storage conditions may cause the paste components to dry out or separate)
The paste is removed from the root canal 3 months after application. Product durability is 2 years from the production date.
