PANAVIA ™ SA Universal – double-bond composite cement for single-step and adhesive fixing of permanent prosthetic restorations.
It offers durable and strong chemical adhesion to virtually all materials (including lithium disilicate ceramics and resin-based composites) without the need for a primer.
It is based on an advanced polymerization technology that ensures a quick reaction of cement binding and permanent tightness of the joint.
It contains unique ingredients, including:
– a unique LCSi monomer that creates a strong chemical bond with ceramics (including glass based on lithium disilicate) and resin-based composites,
– original MDP monomer in high concentration, which additionally provides increased chemical reactivity of the product in relation to zirconium oxide, metal alloys as well as dentin and enamel,
– 62% weight capacity (40% volume capacity) of nanofillers particles.
It is characterized by high compressive strength (300 MPa) and bending strength (91 MPa), as well as flexibility (4.6 GPa).
It shows very low solubility in the water environment, thus ensuring long-term tightness.
It releases fluoride ions, which ensures anti-caries prophylaxis.
The material is very easy to use – it does not require the use of a primer and long-term and multi-stage procedures.
It can be easily and precisely applied with a thin layer (14µ) without the need for a special dispenser, and the direct application to the canals is facilitated by special endo tips.
After rapid polymerization, its excess can be easily removed without the risk of staining or damaging the restorations or the gums.
Additionally, it can be stored outside the refrigerator at room temperature without losing its properties.
It contrasts very well in the X-ray pictures (170% Al), which greatly facilitates the diagnosis.
For restorations with limited retention and to increase the bond strength, the cement is used with CLEARFIL Universal Bond Quick.
This allows you to increase the bond strength and eliminates the need to use Cleafril DC Activator.
Cement is produced in three shades – universal, translucent and white opaque.
It provides a high aesthetic and cosmetic effect regardless of specific clinical situations.

PANAVIA ™ SA Universal is available in automatic and manual mixing.

Indications:
– embedding of crowns and bridges made of ceramics (including lithium disilicate or glass ceramics) or resin-based composites,
– embedding of adhesive bridges, inlay / onlay crown inserts,
– embedding of prosthetic restorations on implants and abutments,
– cementing crown-root inlays,
the material can also be used for fixing splints and as bonding amalgam fillings.
