ParaPost Fiber Lux TAPER Set

The tapered ParaPost Taper Lux (taper 04) inserts are a great alternative to metal inserts in all cases where it is necessary to make an aesthetic, metal-free restoration. They are made of a translucent resin reinforced with glass fibers with a shade matching the natural colors. A high percentage of unidirectional fibers give them excellent break resistance without compromising their flexibility. Taper Lux inserts transmit visible light, which allows the use of light-curing cements and materials for core reconstruction.
Material composition – 60% fiberglass with 40% resin.

Characteristics:

– glass fiber reinforced with resin prevents the formation of a shadow effect

– elasticity similar to dentin

– visible on X-ray pictures

– round head minimizes stresses in the core build-up material

– anti-rotation surface stabilizes the material used to rebuild the core

– light transmittance – allows the use of light-curing cements

– 4% conicity, for use in narrow and delicate channels

– good fit to the apical part of the canal prepared with the Crown-Down method

Size 4.5 – diameter 1.14 mm, blue

Size 5.0 – diameter 1.25 mm, red

Size 5.5 – diameter 1.40 mm, purple

Size 6.0 – 1.5mm diameter, black
