• Medium grit discs are ideal for contouring and edging (generating a smooth transition between tooth and restoration
• Fine discs are used for finishing work, providing a smooth surface
• Extra fine discs are used in polishing to produce an esthetic, shiny restoration

• Dark blue – medium
• Blue – fine
• Light blue – superfine
