Wave is an aesthetic, light-cured, fluid hybrid composite that releases fluoride for anterior and posterior teeth. The advantage of this material is its unique low viscosity, which allows very good adaptation to the etched tooth and at the same time ensures good marginal tightness and durability of the filling. The Wave syringe is also distinguished by its construction, which allows for controlled dosing of the material, which, combined with the use of longer tips for application (12.2 mm), facilitates precise and easier placement of the composite in hard-to-reach places. The material is also characterized by low polymerization shrinkage, which improves the strength of the filling and protects against secondary decay. As in other SDI products, strontium glass was used in this case, which additionally increased the wear resistance of the filling.
